The Trustees has long been concerned with improving access to its properties and mission for everyone, and through a number of important initiatives in the last 20 years has extended its reach to populations and communities that previously had little or no access to open space. From such efforts as expanding into gateway cities like Holyoke and New Bedford to affiliating with local organizations with deep roots in neighborhoods and communities.
