We owe a debt of gratitude to all workers on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic. From the brave healthcare professionals who have healed, to the selfless grocery stores who have kept their communities supplied, The Trustees would like to honor all frontline workers with free admission to almost any Trustees property one day of every month.
On Saturday, July 18th, and once every month through the remainder of the pandemic, frontline workers are invited to visit these beautiful outdoor spaces to unwind and enjoy the peace and wonder of nature. Additional dates will be announced soon.
As a frontline worker, gaining free admission is simple. For Trustees properties that require advanced parking passes, click the “Get Passes” button on this page and choose the date and place you wish to visit. Then select and reserve the free Frontline Worker parking pass. When you arrive at your chosen property, you will be asked to show a work ID or similar proof of employment in addition to your parking pass.
The sites that require a daily or timed parking pass include Appleton Farms, Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Fruitlands Museum, Naumkeag, Mytoi, World’s End, and all Trustees beaches on Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Due to the high demand and limited capacity, Crane Beach will not be available as part of this program for the time being.
Most Trustees properties do not require a daily or timed parking pass to enjoy. For those, simply visit the property on Frontline Worker Day, or on any day as part of the general public.
Frontline workers include doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, nursing home employees, grocery store workers, fast food employees, delivery drivers, first responders, and janitorial or facilities management personnel.
