Castle Hill on the Crane Estate (Ipswich)
Thursdays ~ 6/27 – 8/29 and Sunday, July 21

Castle Hill Picnic Concerts are back this summer! Each Thursday (and one Sunday) from June 27–August 29 (excluding July 4), a different family-friendly band performs on Castle Hill’s Grand Allee overlooking Crane Beach. The season kicks off June 27 with Ipswich homegrown talent and feel-good pop funk band, The Far Out.

 

Fruitlands Museum (Harvard)
Wednesdays ~ 7/3 – 7/24 and Thursdays ~ 6/27 – 8/22

Summer Concerts with The Concord Band kick off July 3, with performances every Wednesday night through July 24.

On Thursdays starting June 27 (excluding July 4), an exciting line-up of concerts is not to be missed.

 

deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum (Lincoln)
Wednesday, May 29 – Friday, August 9

The deCordova Performance Series celebrates the best of our diverse musicians, dancers, and other performers.

 

Scenic Songs

Calling all hiking enthusiasts and music lovers! Join us on the trail with some of your favorite performing artists for a guided hike and intimate live music experience like no other. These unplugged and acoustic shows offered at Trustees properties across the state are unique opportunities to enjoy live music in community and nature.

 

World’s End (Hingham)
Saturday, June 22

Summer Solstice at World’s End returns! Celebrate this remarkable property on one of the longest days of the year with music from South Shore favorite Aldous Collins, alongside an assortment of craft beer, food, and dessert trucks.

 

Weir River Farm (Hingham)
Thursdays ~ 6/20 – 9/19

Starting June 20 and running every Thursday evening until September 19 (excluding July 4), the Sunset Picnic series will feature local breweries and food trucks, live music, and the best view on the South Shore! Pack your picnic blanket and chairs and relax with your friends while watching the sun set over the Boston skyline.

Weir River Farm is also offering two editions of Sensory-Friendly Sunset Picnic Hour on Thursday, July 11 and Thursday, August 8. This program offers a dedicated hour with a reduced number of guests and a quieter sensory-friendly environment. Anyone who would benefit from a limited-capacity visit is welcome.

 

Governor Hutchinson’s Field (Milton)
Saturday, August 3

A magical evening of opera, musical theater, cabaret, and circus with Circus 617 and Opera on Tap Boston awaits you! Spread a blanket on the ground, or bring your own chair for a wonderful family-friendly evening.

 

Rocky Woods (Medfield)
Saturday, August 24

Allman Brothers tribute band The Peacheaters will take the stage in the pavilion field as the headliner for an exciting outdoor afternoon of music. Settle in on the lawn in the beautiful surroundings of Rocky Woods.
