About Scenic Songs: A Hiking Concert with The Nields

Calling all hiking enthusiasts and music lovers! Join us on the trail with some of your favorite performing artists for guided hikes and intimate live music experiences like no other. These unplugged and acoustic shows are unique opportunities to enjoy live music in community and nature.

On October 4th, join The Nields on the trail at Rocky Woods!

The Nields, the folk-rock band from Massachusetts, are a beloved New England duo fronted by sisters Nerissa and Katryna Nields. Their twenty-first album, Circle of Days, was written during the pandemic as Nerissa and Katryna took daily walks to a nearby lake—inspiring a song cycle shaped by the turning of the seasons. With their blend of pop craftsmanship, folk sensibility, and the influences of ‘60s classic rock and ‘90s alternative, The Nields have created a distinctive musical style that defies categorization. Apple Music describes their sound as “equal parts The Beatles, the Cranberries, and Joni Mitchell.” Across 21 albums and decades of touring alongside artists like 10,000 Maniacs, The Band, James Taylor, and the Indigo Girls, The Nields have forged a remarkable musical legacy that continues to captivate audiences around the world.
