The scenic woodlands and rolling fields of Chestnut Hill Farm are true to its heritage as a working farm, saved from development in the 1960s through the dedication of a local family. Stone walls frame fields and pastures across 170 acres. Loop trails wind through upland forests and along the edges of freshwater wetlands. Designated bird reserves allow for safe nesting habitat for Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlarks, and other ground-nesting species beneath a wide-open sky. Unobstructed views in multiple directions make Chestnut Hill Farm ideal for private events.

Private Events at Chestnut Hill Farm

Chestnut Hill Farm is the perfect location for your social or business gathering, including celebrations with family and friends, corporate retreats, birthday parties for all ages, retirement parties, artist/floral workshops and demonstrations, civic organization meetings, reunions, and more. Two distinct rental spaces provide indoor and outdoor surroundings and can be rented individually or together.

Deerfoot Barn

The Deerfoot Barn is a uniquely beautiful gathering space, with a large open concept central room. The beautiful newly constructed space features the exposed and restored original nineteenth century timber frame while integrating large glass windows and doors to capture beautiful views of the farm. The 1200 sf open space features grey cement flooring, classic barn board paneling, glass doors and windows with black stainless-steel frames and an outdoor patio.
Deerfoot Barn features:

  • Table seating space for up to 85 guests
  • Overhead lighting and wall sconces on dimmers
  • Two (2) ADA restrooms, with both indoor and outdoor access
  • Wifi and 120V outlets
  • Dedicated staff member for every event
  • 15×30 ft. patio constructed of pavers
  • Parking for 27 cars plus handicapped accessible parking

Tented Outdoor Space

A classic 20’ x 40’ tent is beautifully sited for panoramic farm views and has grass footing. The white tent is available for three seasons (spring, summer, fall) and includes limited clear sides, which can be installed/rolled down during inclement weather. The tented space can also be rented with the Deerfoot Barn.
Tented Outdoor Space includes:

  • Table seating for up to 75 people
  • Optional lawn games for guests (corn hole, hula hoops)
  • Optional use of surrounding grass area for reception/cocktail hour
  • 120V electrical hook up
  • Optional overhead white bistro lights on inside of tent frame
  • Two (2) ADA restrooms (outside access to restrooms in Deerfoot Barn)
  • Dedicated staff member for every event
  • Parking for 27 cars plus handicapped accessible parking
