Find plants for your home or community garden plot, right in the heart of Boston.
City Natives serves as The Trustees’ native plant nursery for the people of Boston and beyond. The roughly half-acre site holds a greenhouse and hoophouse where we propagate 200+ species of native plants for sales and community garden common areas. We also grow vegetable seedlings for our spring and fall plant sales. Plants can be purchased at our plant sales or by appointment; please visit our Plant Sale page for details.
City Natives also hosts educational field trips and tours, volunteer opportunities, and hands-on workshops. If you are interested in volunteering at City Natives please reach out to citynatives@thetrustees.org.
