The FARM Institute’s land, plants, and animals provide countless opportunities for campers to learn about teamwork, environmental stewardship, math, science, the arts, carpentry, and more. The possibilities are endless! We pride ourselves in offering a unique farm camp experience that will connect your child with the land that surrounds and supports us. We hope that you join the hundreds of our past and present Farm Camp Families and, as we like to say, “Lettuce grow your mind!”

Every day campers enjoy these activities and more as they connect to the natural world and their place within it:

  • Performing essential barnyard chores like feeding, mucking stalls, and collecting eggs
  • Planting, watering, and weeding veggies, flowers, and herbs in the Friendship Garden
  • Cooking and tasting delicious seasonal foods in our teaching kitchen from ingredients campers help to grow
  • Farm-themed arts & crafts and science experiments
  • Games, songs, and free play in the great outdoors!

Our place-based practice is inspired by this exceptional property while building on The Trustees’ expertise in nature conservation, historic landscapes, regenerative agriculture, and culinary education.
