About Astronomer Guided Stargazing

Observe the stars with a telescope at Governor Hutchinson’s Field in Milton! Milton Academy astronomy teacher Jim Kernohan will guide our eyes to make out constellations and planets in the night sky. Binoculars and a telescope will be provided to get a closer look at what’s above us. As the nights grow longer, let your curiosity run wild as you look up at the stars. Please dress warmly and look forward to warm tea when you arrive.

Registration required. If price is a barrier, please reach out to the event organizer for a discount code. As clouds and rain will affect vision of the night sky, loud/rain date will be the following night. Weather updates and directions will be sent out to registrants.

Governor Hutchinson’s field is located on Adams St. in Milton, MA, a short walk from the Milton trolley station in Lower Mills. Onsite parking will be available.
