Trustees School Programs

Public Gardens Education

Explore the intersections of nature, culture, history, and design at our public gardens in Beverly, North Andover, and Stockbridge.

Through our immersive, experiential school, homeschool, and youth programs at our historic public gardens, students discover the life cycles and design elements of gardens. Interactive tours, and hands-on field study programs deepen students’ understanding of these environments, the flora and fauna that thrive there, and offer immersion into the colors, scents, and sounds of each unique garden space.

Themes across our public gardens include:

  • Life Cycles and Adaptation of Plants
  • Pollination
  • Exploring Ecosystems
  • Soil Science and Decomposition
  • Habitats

Our PreK-12 programs support Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks either in Science, Art, Language Arts, Social Studies, or a combination.
