This year, The Trustees is offering an exciting new benefit to Founders Circle members—free, anytime access to Crane Beach, no ticket or reservation necessary!
This exciting new benefit is part of our restructuring of the Crane Beach parking permit program, which took place earlier this month. Read about the details of the changes.
The goal of this new approach is to improve the visitor experience and make access to Crane Beach more available to everyone. The plan involves phasing out Crane Beach parking permits in favor of admissions discounts for beach visitors based on Trustees Membership level.
We recognize that the support of our Founders Circle members is vital to our ability to steward the most exceptional places in Massachusetts. With that in mind, for Founders Circle members like you, Crane Beach access will be as easy as showing up to the entrance and showing your membership card at the gate. It is that simple!

Some things our Founders Circle members should know about visiting Crane Beach:
- You may access Crane Beach, free of charge, whether you have a current permit or not.
- You will not need to make a reservation on our timed ticketing system—you have full access to Crane Beach any time we are open!
- To access Crane Beach, you may simply use your current permit or show your membership card at the gate.
- Going forward, your Founders Circle membership will now be fully tax-deductible.
- You may use your Donor Advised Fund to renew your membership, which now includes full access to Crane Beach.
