Outdoor Recreation

Whether you’re looking for adventure, ready to try something new, or just love being outside, we’ve got something special for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages!

CraneOutdoors offers a year-round lineup of exciting outdoor adventures designed to get you outside and enjoying one of The Trustees’ most beautiful properties. With over 2,100 acres of beach, dunes, woodlands, and marsh and a network of miles of trails, we’re going to bet we can give you an experience you’ll never forget. Our guided experiences included kayak trips, hikes, and riverboat excursions through which you can experience all corners of the Crane Estate!

While many of our programs are geared toward a general audience, we also offer a number of family programs that are geared toward families with children under age 12 (look for “CraneExplorer” as part of the event name). Because our guided experiences are outdoor activities, there are sometimes special requirements regarding what to wear or bring. To help you make the most of your adventure, registrants will be emailed the evening prior to their event with details about where to meet, what to bring, and what to expect. Our adventures begin in different locations across the Crane Estate, so please be sure to read the email carefully for instructions on where to park and meet your CraneOutdoors guide.

 See you outdoors!

Please Note: For the safety and convenience of all participants, CraneOutdoors provides lifejackets, paddles and kayaks for all events. The use of personal kayaks is not permitted for any CraneOutdoors event. Thank you for understanding.
