Host to sections of the New England Scenic Trail, Hop Brook Forest was conserved in 2025 in partnership with Kestrel Land Trust for the benefit of wildlife and water protection.
This large block of forest was previously managed for timber for many decades and will now be allowed to regrow without human interference. Hop Brook Forest is part of an upland forest with many species of wildlife including black bear, moose, deer, turkey, otter, and bobcat. Explore trail connections like the Holland Glen Loop along the Hop Brook ravine, a short but challenging loop along a series of waterfalls.
At the time of publication, this property is scheduled to open in Fall 2026. Access points and trail connections will be under development through 2028. Please check the website for updates prior to your visit.
