Appleton Farms
Appleton Farms, a one thousand-acre property located on the North Shore of Massachusetts, is known for its preserved New England charm. Spring events will be backdropped by blooming wildflowers, song birds and the deep greens of the working farm. In the fall, the venue will offer cascades of oranges and yellows when the ancient Maple trees that line many of the fields change for the new season. Our pastoral vistas, historic farmhouse, hours of walking trails, and wide variety of programming provide an idyllic setting and immersive experience to celebrate any occasion.
The Eleanor Cabot Bradley Estate
The Bradley Estate is a spectacular setting for weddings and private events. Located just minutes off I-95 in Canton, less than 20 miles from Boston, this historic estate is situated on 90 acres of conservation land amidst manicured lawns, a formal parterre garden, a pond, and scenic trails. The Bradley Estate mansion and grounds are available to rent for a limited number of private events per year. Tented events for up to 150 people are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.
Castle Hill on the Crane Estate
Celebrate your special occasion at one of America’s great Country Place Era estates. Located on the Crane Estate in Ipswich and perched high above beautiful Crane Beach, the Great House at Castle Hill offers a dramatic setting for weddings, private events, and corporate functions.
Fruitlands Museum
Fruitlands Museum is proud to partner with Fireside Catering to provide exclusive catering and event coordination for weddings and special events. From the planning stages to the completion of your event, the experienced staff at Fireside will be available to attend to every detail. In addition to sourcing from our own farm, Gibbet Hill Farm, events feature produce and artisan foods from local farms and food purveyors.
Moraine Farm
Our newest reservation, Moraine Farm, is proud to partner with Fireside Catering to provide exclusive catering and event coordination for weddings and special events. From the planning stages to the completion of your event, the experienced staff at Fireside will be available to attend to every detail. This historic property is set on 175 acres, much of which is conservation land and forest, and is sited overlooking beautiful Wenham Lake.
The Barn at Castle Hill
Nestled at the base of the historic Crane Estate’s “Castle Hill”, this picturesque spot looks out across acres of unspoiled tidal rivers, salt marshes, and woodlands. Ceremonies are especially romantic in the Vegetable Garden. With its wisteria-draped lattice arbor, stone towers, and wrought-iron gates, it’s like something right out of a fairytale. The Italian-style barn is a turn-of-the-century treasure, with a post-and-beam interior, rich, rustic terracotta walls, and a green tiled roof.
Steep Hill Beach
Steep Hill Beach features private, rolling lawns with majestic shade trees just a short walk from a stretch of white sandy beach on The Crane Estate in Ipswich, one of the most beautiful settings on the North Shore. Once the summer home of plumbing magnate Richard T. Crane, Jr., the 59-room Stuart-style mansion, gardens, and landscaped grounds of Castle Hill are stately reminders of a bygone era.
