An enchanting woodland hides an eerie graveyard, haunted pirate ship, stylish scarecrows, and thousands of hand-carved glowing jack-o’-lanterns. The larger-than-life seasonal displays and family-friendly frights—expanding and evolving every year—are perfect for all ages.

Ticketing & Admissions

What are the new Value Nights? Wednesdays and Thursdays through October 22 plus Friday, October 2 and Sunday, October 4 are Value Nights, offering discounted ticket pricing for adults 16 and older. Your ticket price will automatically be adjusted if you select one of these nights during the purchasing process.

Can I change my date or time? We cannot accommodate date or time changes. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable across dates.

What happens if I show up early or late for my entry time? Please check in within 15 minutes of your designated time slot. Early/Late arrivals may need to wait to accommodate those with correctly timed tickets.

What is the weather policy? The event will occur rain or shine. Only unsafe or extreme weather may cancel that day’s event. You will be notified by email and receive further refund information if a weather cancellation is necessary.

Do you offer group bookings? Groups larger than 10 guests, please contact Ryan at RUllrich@TheTrustees.org for group booking details.

Accessibility & Amenities

Is the property wheelchair or stroller accessible? Due to terrain conditions, Long Hill is not wheelchair or stroller accessible and may be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility. Wagons are not permitted throughout the trail. Event pathways include sets of stairs, sections with a running slope greater than 5 degrees, uneven surfaces, and uncompacted surface material. For any questions about accessibility, please reach out to Accessibility@TheTrustees.org.

Is there accessible parking available on-site? Yes, accessible parking is available in the lower lot adjacent to check-in. Upon arrival, please let one of our parking attendants know and they will direct you to an accessible parking space. Please note that while accessible parking is available, the trail itself is a significant walk. The event is also not wheelchair accessible due to the site’s physical layout and lack of accessible pathways.

What should I wear? The event is outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather that day, including comfortable footwear. Be prepared to walk along unpaved pathways or uneven terrain, which may be muddy or icy at times. Costumes are encouraged!

What is the trail route? The trail starts behind the farmhouse and goes through the orchard, along the woodland trail. Then, it continues up the main road to the house and through the tent before circling back down towards the farmhouse, again along the main road.

Will there be concessions? Yes, a selection of seasonal treats, snacks, and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Visit our Concession Tent halfway through the trail for hot/cold apple cider, apple cider donuts, boxed water, and other festive sweets. Mulled wine, wine, and sangria are also available for purchase.

Is there a gift shop? A retail Pop-Up Shop will be open at the beginning of the trail located inside the Greenhouse featuring a variety of items for children and adults at varying price points. Trustees Members receive 10% off! Become a Member—or renew your Membership—the evening you attend for 20% off in the shop.

Are dogs allowed? No, to protect our gardens, dogs are not allowed.

How long does it take to walk through? Expect to spend about an hour walking around.

Will restrooms be available? Yes, restrooms are available at both check-in (at the bottom of the hill) and halfway through the trail next to the Concessions Tent (at the top of the hill). Please note that the check-in restrooms are porta-potties.

Is the historic home open during the event? No, Long Hill’s interior will be closed.

Am I able to walk the trails during the event? No, all trails and access to the property will be closed to public visitation starting at 4:30PM.

Can we tailgate? To ensure everyone’s safety, tailgating is strictly prohibited.
