About Growing Together: Natural Fall/Winter Decorations from the Garden

Bring the garden’s beauty indoors with this hands-on workshop focused on creating beautiful winter decorations using natural materials. Participants will explore how to gather and preserve seasonal branches, evergreens, dried flowers, seed heads, berries, grasses, and other garden treasures to create festive botanical accents for the home. This class celebrates the textures, colors, and forms of the fall/winter garden while offering creative, sustainable alternatives to store-bought decorations.

Growing Together is a hands-on gardening series created in collaboration with Arianna Iappini of Birch Arbor Gardens. Designed for gardeners of all experience levels, this series invites participants to learn, connect, and cultivate alongside one another through the seasons. Each session blends practical instruction with thoughtful conversation, exploring sustainable gardening practices, seasonal rhythms, and the deeper relationships between plants, place, and people. Rooted in community and shared knowledge, Growing Together offers a welcoming space to grow skills, confidence, and connection in the historic gardens.
