About Holiday Wreath Making Workshop

Celebrate the winter season by creating your own holiday wreath led by horticulturist, Kaela Robinson. During this workshop, participants will learn techniques for making their wreath using natural materials foraged from the gardens of Stevens-Coolidge. All wreath materials and supplies will be provided.

In this workshop, participants will:

• Learn how to work with a traditional wreath form
• Practice techniques to create a full, balanced shape using classic holiday greens foraged from the grounds of Stevens-Coolidge
• Discover how to mix textures, shapes, and shades of green for a lush, dimensional
  look
• Incorporate pinecones, berries, dried orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and more
• Choose from festive ribbon to personalize your wreath
• Leave with a handcrafted holiday wreath perfect for your door, mantel, or as a heartfelt gift

We will provide participants with one 12″ wreath frame per registration. We will also provide wire and all decorating materials to construct your wreath. We recommend bringing a pair of gardening gloves and garden shears/scissors for handling tougher plant materials!
