About City Natives Workshop – All About Pawpaws

Have you ever tried North America’s largest native fruit? Pawpaws aren’t commercially popular, but their custardy texture and tropical taste make them coveted among foragers. Join us at City Natives to meet our pawpaw trees, taste pawpaw ice cream, and have a chance to buy a pawpaw seedling from our nursery!

City Natives Plant Nursery is located at 30 Edgewater Dr. in Mattapan, a short walk from the Mattapan center bus and trolley stop. Street parking is also available. This workshop will take place during our weekly free food distribution initiative hosted by PanLyfe. Participants are invited to walk the grounds of the nursery before or after the workshop.
