About The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show Early Hours

The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show is BACK! This year with more pumpkins, more fun, and an expanded schedule. Explore our famous gardens as we transform Naumkeag into a celebration of autumn with over 1,500 jack-o-lanterns, hundreds of mums, pumpkins and countless gourds – most of which were grown right here at Naumkeag. Hot cider and fall treats will be available for sale on-site.

Early Hours

For those who have very little ones that might not want to take the shuttle, need to make it home early, have a family member with sensory needs, or may otherwise benefit from a lower capacity experience with on-site parking at Naumkeag (5 Prospect Hill Road, Stockbridge), we provide a limited number of tickets from 4–5PM Wednesday through Sunday. Please note that the path for the show is still the same during this hour and covers uneven terrain with many steps, though with better visibility during the early evening hour. There will be no entry past 4:30PM with a 4PM ticket.

We also have two additional daytime timeslots on Saturdays and Sundays, 12–2PM and 2–4PM. Wander through Naumkeag’s breathtaking gardens, where the rich colors of fall and carefully curated landscapes create a picturesque backdrop to the seasonal festivities. Perfect for garden enthusiasts, families, or anyone seeking a quieter, more peaceful experience, this daytime option lets you enjoy the show and the garden’s beauty at your own pace. As you explore, you can also visit the first floor of the house where seasonal décor sets a spooky, festive mood, browse our fall-inspired gift shop for unique seasonal finds, and grab a light refreshment or sweet treat at the concessions stand to complete your experience.

Guests will select an arrival time of 12PM or 2PM and may stay for up to two hours. Please plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your ticketed time. This daytime ticket cannot be extended into our evening hours (beginning at 4PM). If you’re looking for an earlier evening option with on-site parking, be sure to register for the 4PM timeslot.

Due to the age of the site and its steep and uneven terrain, Naumkeag is not ADA compliant and is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible and may be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility. Please reach out to accessibility@thetrustees.org with any questions about accessibility.

Advanced purchase of timed tickets is required. Tickets will not be sold on site. Ticket time represents your arrival window.

Child ticket age 3-15; kids 2 and under are free.

Special Offer: On Wednesdays and Thursdays, October 1, 7, 8, 14, and 15 all Child tickets are free!

Enjoy discounted pricing on one of our Value Nights: Friday October 2, Sunday October 4, as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays through October 22.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where are the buttons to select my parking zone? To streamline your purchase, all available parking zones now appear after selecting your day and time slot through the single ticketing link. Choose your preferred zone or swap your day and time slot until your preferred zone appears.

Parking Zone C is the Pine Street Parking Lot at Marian Fathers. Please select one of the available parking zones when you have chosen your day and time slot during the ticket purchasing process. More information about your selected parking zone will be shared prior to your ticket date.

Why are there different parking zones? Parking is off-site to provide access for more guests. Select another day/time if your preferred parking zone does not appear when purchasing tickets.

How do the parking zones work? Each zone will have a staff member check you in and a shuttle pickup every 5-10 minutes from 5-8PM. The last return shuttle will depart Naumkeag at 9PM when the property closes.

Can I drop people off at Naumkeag’s Main Gate? No, except for ticket holders to Early Hours, all Naumkeag guests are required to take a shuttle bus to the property, which can be picked up at your designated parking zone check-in location.
