About Fall Foliage Hike with Adventure East

Enjoy a relaxed, two‑hour guided hike through some of Western Massachusetts’ most beautiful fall landscapes. Your naturalist guide will highlight seasonal changes, point out tree species and color patterns, and share insights into forest ecology as you walk. October’s crisp air and vibrant canopy make these outings an ideal way to savor the region’s peak foliage while spending restorative time outdoors.

Who This Trip Is For

Perfect for adults and youth ages 10+ who enjoy easy to moderate walking in natural settings. No prior hiking experience is required—just comfortable footwear, curiosity, and a love of autumn scenery.

Location & Route

Where: Select Trustees of Reservations properties across Western Massachusetts, chosen for outstanding fall color.
Route: Approximately 2 miles of gentle trails, forest paths, and scenic viewpoints, with stops to observe foliage and discuss natural features.
Pace & Timing: A relaxed two‑hour hike with steady pacing and breaks to take in the scenery, ask questions, and enjoy the autumn atmosphere.
