About Girl Power!: A Concert for Visionaries, Rebels, and Trailblazers

Join us for a joyful evening of music at Powisset Farm as the Blackstone Valley String Quartet brings the songs of iconic female pop stars to life on strings. Spread out a blanket or bring a chair for this family-friendly night under the open sky. Come early to explore the farm, walk the trails, and visit our barnyard animals.
Based in North Grafton, the Blackstone Valley String Quartet specializes in genre-blending performances throughout New England. From pop anthems to classical favorites, they reimagine familiar melodies with a fresh, creative twist – bringing people together through the power of music.
This concert celebrates the bold voices of women past and present, with special recognition of Amelia Peabody, whose spirit of innovation, independence, and generosity originally saved Powisset Farm from development and later provided it to the Trustees.
YOUR TICKET INCLUDES
Your ticket includes parking, music, lawn games, visits with the barnyard animals and Powisset’s spectacular views. Food, beer, wine and other beverages are available for purchase.
Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged. Picnic tables are limited.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT.
Food, drinks, and fun start at 5:30pm! Concert starts at 6:30pm!
Please note: Although we love our four-legged friends, dogs are not allowed at Powisset Farm.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
