About Castle Hill Tour: Hollywood on the Hill

This guided tour highlights the many star-studded movies that have been filmed at Castle Hill over the past 40 years, such as The Witches of Eastwick (1987), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), The Equalizer (2014), and Little Women (2019).

Hear behind-the-scenes stories about Timothée Chalamet, Matthew McConaughey, Jack Nicholson, Emma Stone, Meryl Streep, Denzel Washington, and other acclaimed actors. Find out how production designers turned the Terrace into a winter wonderland, made a king-size bed fly across the Grand Allée, and helped a stuntman climb up the outside of the Library to the rooftop—all without the use of CGI!

This tour has a run time of approximately 90 minutes. Tickets can be purchased in advance, or on a first-come-first-serve basis on property.

We recommend you arrive 15 minutes before your designated tour start time. We will be unable to reschedule your tour if you arrive late.

Accessibility: This tour takes place outside in the Forecourt, inside on the first floor of the Great House, outside on the Terrace, with an option to continue down to the Italian Gardenand and will involve walking on gravel, grass, and pavement with some uneven stairs. Headset amplifier and voice amplification available on request.
