About Watercolors and Wine at Weir River Farm
Unwind, sip, and get creative at Watercolors and Wine at beautiful Weir River Farm—an evening inspired by artist Polly Thayer Starr, who once painted these very landscapes and called the Weir River Farm home.
As you look out over rolling fields and wide‑open pastures, you’ll take in sweeping views that stretch all the way to the Boston skyline, glowing in the soft evening light. It’s easy to see why Polly found endless inspiration here. A celebrated 20th‑century artist known for her expressive style and bold vision, she captured the spirit of this landscape with imagination and energy—and now it’s your turn.
During this fun, relaxed workshop, you’ll enjoy a glass of wine while drawing inspiration from Polly’s vibrant interpretations of the land. With examples, guidance, and plenty of encouragement, you’ll create your own farm‑inspired masterpiece—no experience needed.
Gather your friends, soak in the beauty of Weir River Farm, and paint where art and history meet. Spots are limited—sign up and make it a night of color, creativity, laughter, and unforgettable views.
This course is open to artists of all experience levels. All supplies will be provided but participants are welcome to bring their own.

Parking is available in the lot located across from the Studio at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. Accessible parking is available next to the Studio. Participants will meet in the Studio building across from the parking lot.
This program is rain or shine! In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with animals, dogs are not permitted on the property.
