Long Hill’s gardens come alive with Halloween magic! Step into an enchanted woodland lined with glowing jack-o-lanterns, larger-than-life seasonal displays, and family-friendly frights perfect for all ages.

For those who may benefit from a quieter sensory-sensitive environment—or those with limited mobility who need an alternative path to accommodate accessibility restrictions—we offer a limited number of tickets on Fridays, October 3–24 from 3:30–4:30PM. A Social Story is also available to download before the event.

Advance timed ticket purchase is required (one ticket per person). No tickets will be sold on-site.

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is the property wheelchair or stroller accessible? Due to terrain conditions, Long Hill is not wheelchair or stroller accessible, and may be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility. Event pathways include sets of stairs, sections with a running slope greater than 5 degrees, uneven surfaces, and uncompacted surface material. For any questions about accessibility, please reach out to tickets@thetrustees.org.

Can I change my date or time? We cannot accommodate date or time changes. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable across dates.

What happens if I show up early or late for my entry time? Please check in within 15 minutes of your designated time slot. Early/Late arrivals may need to wait to accommodate those with correctly timed tickets.

What should I wear? The event is outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather that day. Be prepared to walk along unpaved pathways or uneven terrain which may be muddy or icy at times.

What is the weather policy? The event will occur rain or shine. Only unsafe or extreme weather may cancel that day’s event. You will be notified by email and receive further refund information if a weather cancellation is necessary.

Will there be concessions? Yes, a concession stand will be available at the top of the hill with autumnal-inspired baked goods and beverages, novelty treats, and more. Marble Ridge Winery (based in North Andover) is also back this year, offering handcrafted alcoholic beverages and mocktails.

Are dogs allowed? No, dogs are not allowed.

How long does it take to walk through? Expect to spend about an hour walking around.

Will restrooms be available? Yes, restrooms will be available.

Are the historic homes open during the events? No, Long Hill’s interior will be closed.

Can we tailgate? To ensure everyone’s safety, tailgating is strictly prohibited.

Are the pumpkins real? Many are foam “Funkins” which you can learn more about—alongside other sustainability practices—here.
