We are excited to bring art+mindfulness, a dynamic experience that brings guided meditation and quiet reflection, to the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum. This 90-minute workshop has been designed to whisk you away from your daily responsibilities and leave you feeling calm, connected and more present. In the presence of outdoor sculpture and within a small community of people you’ll practice guided meditation and reflective journaling crafted to help you re-prioritize your energy for what brings you joy.
art+mindfulness is a collaboration between Beth Kantrowitz and Jennifer Swanberg, Ph.D. Beth is an independent art curator/consultant through bkprojects as well as co-director of Drive-by Projects. Jennifer is professor of health science and a nationally recognized work-life scholar, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and work+life coach.
This is an opportunity to slow down, experience the autumn air in nature and connect with like-hearted humans. No meditation experience is required. Just come as you are.
What to bring: mats and a blanket (if you forget, we’ve got you covered).
Pens and journals will be provided.
