Join Boston Harbor Now and The Trustees Resiliency Initiative at Moakley Park for a Summer Bioblitz and help document the changing season.
Together, we’ll explore the park and look for new plant growth, returning birds, insects, and other wildlife. By observing and recording what we see, participants will contribute to a broader effort to document biodiversity and seasonal change.
Whether you’re new to nature observation or already enjoy spending time outdoors, this program is designed to be welcoming and easy to join—no prior experience needed.
What to Expect
• An introduction to nature observation
• Time to observe birds, plants, and other wildlife
• Opportunities to contribute observations to a shared dataset
• A closing group reflection
