Things to do This Weekend

Looking for something to do in Massachusetts this weekend? Here are some highlights across the state.

The last weekend of May is already here. As spring turns to summer, there is something for everyone at our programs across the state this weekend.

May’s blue moon, the second full moon of the month, is this weekend. At World’s End in Hingham, join the Once in a Blue Moon hike, and take in the property under the light of the full moon. At Crane Beach in Ipswich, join the CraneOutdoors or CraneExplorer (family friendly) hikes in the dunes under the night sky. And down near the Cape, head to Lyman Reserve in Bourne, Plymouth and Wareham for a full moon Creatures of the Night Hike

This weekend marks Celebrate Japan!, a celebration of the rich cultural traditions, artistic practices, and enduring influence of Japanese heritage within our gardens and beyond, in partnership with the Japan Society of Boston. Enjoy Forest Bathing, an Ikebana Workshop, an Indigo Shibori Workshop, or a Japanese Garden Tour.

It’s always the perfect weekend to take a tour. Whether it’s the Mohicans, Missionaries and Migrating Colonists: Guided Tour at The Mission House in Stockbridge, Designing for Delight: A Garden Tour of Naumkeag in Stockbridge, or the Castle Hill Tour: Highlights on the Hill, a leisurely tour of the Castle Hill grounds from our comfy tour cart, find the right tour for you!

For those in Boston this weekend, find The Trustees at the WBUR Festival. We will have a table at the festival hub on Friday, and a table at the street fair selling Trustees finds on Saturday.
