Payment & Financial Assistance

Payment is due in full by credit card at time of registration to confirm your spot.
If you would like to arrange a payment plan or another form of payment, please contact the camp office to discuss options as early as possible.

The Trustees is committed to providing outdoor camp experiences for everyone. To obtain Financial Assistance information and an application, please click on “Financial Assistance” to the left or contact the camp office. Although spots are being held for eligible campers, we suggest you apply as early as possible as assistance is awarded on a rolling basis as space and funds allow.

Member Tuition Rate

The Crane Estate is part of The Trustees, a member-supported, nonprofit organization. Family Members receive the $100 discounted tuition rate for each camper for each week of camp – plus free or discounted admission at over 120 Trustees properties across the state, program discounts, and special event pre-sales all year round.

You may purchase or renew your Trustees membership as you register for camp. You will automatically be eligible for the Member tuition rate. Memberships must be valid through August 2024.

Wait Lists

If any of your desired camp weeks are full, you will have the option to be on the wait list as you register. Your credit card will not be charged for any wait listed sessions until you accept a spot that opens.

  • Electronic copies of annual physical and immunization records for uploading
  • Emergency and pick up contact info
  • Camper insurance policy and doctor contact info
  • Credit card
  • Your Membership number and expiration date, if you are already a Member through August 2024 and do not plan to renew now (search here if your card is not accessible)
Buddy Requests

We do our best to honor buddy requests, if campers are in the same age cohort. All parties must initiate a buddy request when registering.

Refund, Cancellation, and Session Change Policy
  • Prior to May 1, we are happy to refund tuition less $150 per camper per week.
  • After May 1, we are not able to issue any refunds for cancelled sessions, even if spots are refilled.
  • Session changes may be requested anytime and will be fulfilled as space allows. There is a $50 per camper per week session change fee.
  • Note: Memberships are valid upon purchase and are not refundable at any time.

Refunds are not given for camper dismissal, failure to attend, absence, or sick days. Pro-rated refunds will be offered if camp is not able to open due to extreme weather.

Great activities, lots of movement and good relationships with the camp staff and director, who were very supportive and welcoming.

My daughter loved camp! Given the restrictions and the closure of the camp she normally attends, we had to scramble to find another open and safe option. We are Trustees members and I was so happy when I got word that some of your camps would be outside and still running. I don’t usually consider SummerQuest because we are in Salem and Ipswich feels like a trek. Realistically, the drive isn’t bad and it was always a nice relaxing way to start the morning/afternoon. My daughter, an only child, has been stuck with us since March (since the school closure) and it was starting to show how much she missed being around other kids. When we picked her up on that very first day, she couldn’t stop talking! It was as if she was lit up! As the days progressed, her enthusiasm for camp only continued. She was definitely sad to say goodbye on her final day. Thank you so much for providing a camp option this year that had safety protocols that helped us feel comfortable sending her to camp at all this year. We have seen a significant benefit to her being out of the house and with other children in such a beautiful and enriching setting. Thank you! Thank you!
