Rocky Woods Camp, Medfield
WHAT: We are excited to announce a new partnership with the YMCA of Greater Boston to run a 5-week camp at Rocky Woods in summer 2024 featuring Trustees-led nature activities and YMCA-led recreational activities. Thematic weeks include geology, animals, plant science, and wilderness survival skills.
WHO: Rocky Woods Camp is for campers ages 5–13 who are excited to be in nature all day, learning about this special place, hiking, playing games, making arts and crafts, and having fun with new friends.
WHERE: Rocky Woods is a historic 491-acre reservation in Medfield full of outdoor adventures. A prized habitat for songbirds, bullfrogs, beavers, and painted turtles, Rocky Woods is also a great place for campers to spread their wings and explore. This enchanting landscape hosts miles of scenic trails, ponds full of aquatic life, dramatic geological formations, and panoramic views.
HOW: All registration and information are through the YMCA of Greater Boston. Trustees Family Members receive the YMCA’s member discount and are invited to register during the YMCA’s early bird registration: January 2–19, 2024.
