Treat yourself to a weekend of nature and culture on the North Shore. While staying at the Inn at Castle Hill, you will have access to the entire Crane Estate including Crane Beach and Castle Hill, a National Historic Landmark site. As part of your visit, we will offer a tour of the Great House, an English-style manor house designed by David Adler in the 1920s. Down the road from the Crane Estate, you can visit Appleton Farms and receive a gift basket of delicious, seasonal products from the farm store. Appleton also offers 12 miles of hiking trails across its beautiful 1,000-acre pastoral landscape. Integrated into the landscape and on view through November 1, 2024, Jean Shin: Perch is an Art at The Trustees installation that raises awareness for bobolinks, an at-risk species of songbird that nest in the grasslands at Appleton.
