Party for the Sculpture Park returns to celebrate deCordova’s unique positioning at the intersection of art and the natural world. Join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing amidst the inspiring landscape. Sip cocktails while exploring the Sculpture Park, enjoy a delicious dinner overlooking Flint’s Pond, and dive into a lively auction to benefit the continued stewardship of this special place. It’s the ultimate al fresco celebration.

2024 Auction Items

A Weekend to Explore The Crane Estate & Appleton Farms

Treat yourself to a weekend of nature and culture on the North Shore. While staying at the Inn at Castle Hill, you will have access to the entire Crane Estate including Crane Beach and Castle Hill, a National Historic Landmark site. As part of your visit, we will offer a tour of the Great House, an English-style manor house designed by David Adler in the 1920s. Down the road from the Crane Estate, you can visit Appleton Farms and receive a gift basket of delicious, seasonal products from the farm store. Appleton also offers 12 miles of hiking trails across its beautiful 1,000-acre pastoral landscape. Integrated into the landscape and on view through November 1, 2024, Jean Shin: Perch is an Art at The Trustees installation that raises awareness for bobolinks, an at-risk species of songbird that nest in the grasslands at Appleton.

Private Chef’s Farm-To-Table Dinner at Powisset Farm

Join us at historic Powisset Farm in Dover where your group will be welcomed to a private, farm-to-table, chef-guided, immersive experience. Dinner consists of four courses with wine pairings, prepared in the open kitchen and explained by the chef. Ingredients are sourced from Powisset Farm, Trustees farms, and other trusted local sources. The dining table is placed in close proximity to the culinary action so guests may watch the food being prepared throughout the evening. A printed menu and a gift from the Powisset Farm Store will complete your experience.

Art & Nature Getaway at Field Farm in the Berkshires

The Berkshires beckon with their exceptional offerings of art and nature, and we have an art-lover’s dream weekend in store. Enjoy a restful two-night stay at the Guest House at Field Farm in Williamstown, a unique B&B with mid-century modern furnishings and artwork. Immerse yourself in the beautiful countryside amidst 320 acres of conservation land with unparalleled views of Mt. Greylock. In addition to the circuit of serene trails that can be accessed from the Guest House, enjoy a tour of The Folly with Mark Wilson, Director of Historic Collections. The pinwheel-shaped guest cottage was designed in 1965 by noted modernist architect Ulrich Franzen. To further satisfy your art cravings, tickets to MASS MoCA and the Clark Art Institute will be included in this package. And we’ll top it off with dinner for two at local favorite eatery, Mezze.

Private Tour of the Newly Reimagined Four Seasons Gallery at Fruitlands Museum with Tess Lukey

Join Tess Lukey, Associate Curator of Native American Art and Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribal Member, and up to 10 guests for a private walk-through of Across Boundaries Across Barriers, Survivance in the American West, and a private viewing of A Surreal Place. Featuring historic and contemporary works of art from several Native American communities, these exhibitions are the first phase of a broader reinterpretation of the rich indigenous collection originally assembled in the early 20th century and represents the first step of a larger reconsideration of the existing gallery spaces at Fruitlands. Following the tour, you and your group will enjoy your choice of a lunch or a cocktail reception.

One Week Vacation at Long Point on Martha’s Vineyard

Enjoy the unique opportunity to vacation on preservation land and explore all that Long Point Wildlife Refuge has to offer – ocean, ponds, rare grassland bird habitat, and more. Once the former Tisbury Duck Hunting Club, the Long Point Cottage has amazing views of salt ponds, dunes, and ocean. At more than 600 acres, Long Point is one of the largest publicly accessible properties on Martha’s Vineyard. With four twin beds and two queen beds, there is plenty of room for your friends and family to have a great time!

Private Party & Sculpture Park Tour at deCordova with Sarah Montross

If you’re craving an intimate experience at deCordova with your closest friends, look no further! We would love to host you and your guests for a special evening surrounded by art and nature. Drinks, appetizers, and dinner will be provided for a party of 10 guests along with full access to the grounds. Chief Curator Sarah Montross will lead a Sculpture Park tour, offering behind-the-scenes insight into the artists and art-making processes featured at deCordova as well as the museum’s rich history.


  • Includes a 3-hour event for up to 10 guests catered by MAX Ultimate Food

Jean Shin has created this one-of-a-kind collage on digital pigment print inspired by her Art & the Landscape commission Perch now on view at Appleton Farms which honors the ecology and history of this special place.
