About Condor Street Painting Session

Who All ages, all skill levels—including people who say they can’t draw. Kids welcome with an adult. No experience needed.

What Join the Trustees Boston Resilience team for a morning of outdoor painting at Condor Street Urban Wild, looking out over Chelsea Creek. Presented by The Trustees with the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department’s Urban Wilds Program.

We’ll set up on the paved walkway along the water, facing the creek and the bridge. All supplies are provided—paint, brushes, paper, and boards. There’s no instruction to keep up with and nothing you need to know how to do beforehand.

Condor Street Urban Wild is a restored stretch of salt marsh and shoreline on Chelsea Creek in East Boston. It’s one of about 30 urban wilds—undeveloped natural land the City has protected across Boston’s neighborhoods since the 1970s.

Cost Free, supplies included. Registration requested so we bring enough materials.

Getting there By transit: 20 minute walk from the blue line. By car: Street parking available

Accessibility The painting area is on a paved, level walkway with a railing. No Restrooms available.

Bring Layers—it’s cooler by the water. Everything else will be provided by our team!
