About Teen Test Kitchen – Hot Potatoes!

No small potatoes here! Teens will get hands-on in the kitchen and discover creative new ways to cook with everyone’s favorite spud.

In this hands-on class, Chef Charlotte will lead the group in a variety of potato-based dishes to upgrade your favorite type of potato. Whether you’re a mashed potato purist, or tuber-curious, you’ll love these Crispy Potato Pillows with Garlic and Rosemary, Sage and Sweet Potato Hasselback Gratin, and Potato Latkes with Homemade Apple Sauce and Crème Fraîche.

Whenever possible, ingredients will be sourced directly from our farm. This hands-on program is designed to be fun, creative, and educational, giving children the chance to experience two different aspects of farm life in one engaging day.

This drop-off class is designed for children ages 12-16. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes 24 hours prior to class. Minimum of 8 participants required for class to take place. Please Note:  Powisset is NOT a nut-free or gluten-free kitchen.  

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another program within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Powisset Farm 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.
