Raise your steins and join us for a spirited celebration of autumn at our annual Oktoberfest at Appleton Farms! Enjoy a German inspired afternoon filled with craft brews, live music, hayrides, and family-friendly fun.
During the event, participants can indulge in unique Oktoberfest inspired food offerings from Serenitee Catering, DownRiver Ice Cream, and our very own Wood-fired pizza and baked goods handcrafted by the Appleton Culinary Team!
Tickets are sold by the carload. Participants will select either 12:00 noon, 1 pm or 2:30 pm for their timed ticket entry. The ticket cost will cover parking and access to this special event. Food, Beer, and Hayrides must be purchased separately. Whether you’re here for the craft brews, the polka, or just the good company; there’s something for everyone to enjoy. So grab your best dirndl or lederhosen and join us for a memorable afternoon!

Space is limited and pre-registration is strongly suggested. We recommend bringing blankets or camping chairs. Participants may be required to walk several minutes to get to the event from overflow parking through our crop-field paths or dirt roads. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Program Refunds/Cancellations: In the event that a program is cancelled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact appletonfarms@thetrustees.org at least 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund or transfer to another date/class. Refunds and/or class transfers will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. There are no refunds for missed events. Appleton Farms reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary.
Where to park: When you arrive at the farm from the main entrance off of 1A, you will be directed by our parking attendants. Please note that some parking will require several minutes of walking through crop fields or dirt roads to get to the event center. Please notify the gate attendant if you require special parking accommodations or a drop-off as proximity parking is limited.
Are dogs allowed at this event? Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at any of our farm areas or at events. However, please feel free to bring them to the Grass Rides area off of Highland St. for a hike another time!
Can I bring my own food? Food will be available to purchase onsite, but picnics are permitted. No outside alcohol allowed.
I am a Trustees Member. Do I need to purchase a ticket? Yes, all attendees will need a ticket. Tickets will be available per car load. Member Carload: $20/ Nonmember carload: $30
