About Growing Together: Flower Pressing Workshop

Discover the art of preserving nature’s beauty in this hands-on Flower Pressing Workshop. Participants will learn techniques for selecting, pressing, and preserving flowers while exploring creative ways to use pressed botanicals in art, journaling, and seasonal decor. Together, we’ll work with fresh blooms, discuss proper drying methods, and create a collection of pressed flowers to begin your own botanical keepsakes at home. Each participant will also take home a small flower press to continue the practice beyond the workshop.

Growing Together is a new hands-on gardening series created in collaboration with Arianna Iappini of Birch Arbor Gardens. Designed for gardeners of all experience levels, this series invites participants to learn, connect, and cultivate alongside one another through the seasons. Each session blends practical instruction with thoughtful conversation, exploring sustainable gardening practices, seasonal rhythms, and the deeper relationships between plants, place, and people. Rooted in community and shared knowledge, Growing Together offers a welcoming space to grow skills, confidence, and connection in the historic gardens.
