Are you a fermentation enthusiast ready to dive in at home but perhaps don’t know where to start?
Join Cara Monteleone, our Culinary Instructor at The Farm Institute, to demystify fermentation and learn preservation basics while preparing kimchi!
In this class, we will transform local ingredients into a fun and funky delicacy with cabbage perfect for diving into fermentation methods, science, safety, and history.
Each participant will bring home their own batch of kimchi and be able to sample finished products along the way.
This class is designed for beginner home-fermenters and preservers.
Pre-registration is required for all Farm Institute cooking classes.
