About Full Moon Kayak with Adventure East
Launch at dusk for a guided full moon paddle on the quiet, flat waters of Tully Lake. We’ll ease into an unhurried pace along protected shorelines and coves, keeping lights low to preserve night vision while guides set a calm rhythm and offer simple night‑navigation tips. Expect a relaxed evening on flatwater with moments to pause, listen for nocturnal wildlife, and enjoy the moonrise reflected on the lake.
This event is great for paddlers ages 12+ who are comfortable maintaining steady boat control on flatwater after dark. Prior tour experience is helpful but not required; participants should be comfortable following guide instructions and minimizing artificial light to protect group night vision.
Location & Route
Where: Tully Lake, North Quabbin region of Western Massachusetts.
Route: A relaxed evening loop tracing quiet shorelines and coves, with occasional shoreline pauses to enjoy the moonrise and night sky.
Pace & Timing: Dusk launch with approximately 2 hours on the water at an easy, conversation‑pace cadence.

- Flashlight – however, we encourage you to largely rely on the brilliance of the moonlight
