About Guided Wildflower Walks

Join our veteran wildflower guides for a guided tour of the Ledges Trail. Learn all about the different flowers that are blooming, the insects that pollinate them and what makes them so unique. Spring wildflowers are extremely unique and have extremely short bloom times. Because of this, flowers that will be blooming at the beginning of the festival may not be in bloom by the end, and visitor’s are encouraged to visit the Cobble multiple times to see as much as possible.

The trail is a half mile loop, although not strenuous it does feature a few steep staircases and hills and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. This walk is not recommended for young children or families. Please wear appropriate hiking gear and bring water. This is a great opportunity for photographing the flowers or taking notes. Make sure to check out our other programs happening during the wildflower walks, such as our art and nature journaling classes!

Tours are offered Saturdays and Sundays from April 18 to May 17 at Noon, with additional tours running at 1pm on select dates (April 18, April 26, and May 2)

The spring ephemerals won’t be out for long- don’t miss them!
