About Fall Foliage Walk through Whitney and Thayer Woods

Join experienced Trustees staff on an easy to moderate 2.5 mile hike through Whitney and Thayer Woods. Starting from Weir River Farm and looping through Whitney and Thayer Woods, this hike will take approximately 1.5 hours. During the hike enjoy the crisp fall air while strolling through the beautiful woodlands and glimpsing wildlife among the colorful fall foliage. The hike will continue up through Turkey Hill with amazing views of the changing landscape.

This will be an easy to moderate walk along dirt trails with slight inclines in some areas. The exact route is subject to change.

Parking is available in the Weir River Farm lot located at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. Participants will meet at the kiosk in the parking lot. The hike will loop through Whitney and Thayer Woods and Turkey Hill and end back at the original starting point at Weir River Farm.

Pre-registration is required for this event.

In the event of particularly inclement weather, this program may be rescheduled or cancelled. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We love our furry friends, however, dogs are not permitted in programs.
