About Closing Reception – Serenade: A Symphony in Pastel

Join us from 1-3PM for a closing reception to celebrate “Serenade: A Symphony in Pastel,” a one-woman-exhibit by award winning pastel artist and Massachusetts local Lisa Regopoulos.

Her exhibition at the Wayside Gallery consists of pastel paintings encompassing several series: Acadia National Park seascapes, landscapes, birds and florals. Lisa is an International Association of Pastel Societies Master Circle member and especially enjoys plein air painting. Her style is loose and expressive emphasizing the medium’s texture and the artist’s hand. She is a sought-after pastel instructor teaching workshops across the United States and leading programs abroad in Italy, France and England. Lisa is an accomplished pastel artist who has won numerous awards by the Plein Air Salon Art Competition and has achieved global teaching positions.

Admission to the Wayside Gallery for the reception is free. The exhibit will be on view from September 13 through November 2.
