Join us to learn about the owls that breed in Massachusetts! We will talk about how to identify owls by call, where to find them, and how owls can successfully hunt at night. We will take our skills to the trail and listen for owls on the paths of World’s End.
While we’ll keep our ears tuned and eyes peeled for the elusive owls that call this area home, nature doesn’t always follow a script, so sightings or sounds are not guaranteed. Along the way, we’ll also be on the lookout for other creatures of the night that thrive after dark. This immersive nighttime experience is an exciting opportunity to connect with the wonders of the natural world.
This will be an easy to moderate walk along dirt trails with slight inclines in some areas. You can expect semi-rocky terrain and exposed roots in some areas of the trail. The path taken will be determined based on where we are most likely to hear or see wildlife.
