About Winterlights at Naumkeag

Winterlights is back! Join us for a magical outdoor experience at Naumkeag as it sparkles with thousands of shimmering and artfully designed holiday lights. Bring the whole family for a fun and safe outdoor experience. Winterlights runs Wednesday through Sunday each week from the Friday after Thanksgiving through the first weekend in January.

Advanced purchase of timed tickets is required (one ticket needed per person). Tickets will not be sold on site. Ticket time represents your arrival window – please arrive during this time.

Due to its steep and uneven terrain, and the presence of stairway along its pathways, Naumkeag is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. The grounds may be difficult to navigate for guests with limited mobility. Please reach out to winterlights@thetrustees.org with any questions about accessibility.

*PLEASE NOTE: There will be no parking on site and absolutely NO dropoffs at the property. Please read through the FAQ’s before you purchase your tickets*

PARKING & ARRIVALS

  • General parking for Winterlights will NOT be at Naumkeag. Parking will be assigned according to the zone indicated on your ticket. Each zone corresponds to a specific parking location. Please read the parking information carefully when purchasing your ticket as you must park & check in at the zone indicated on your ticket information. The parking zones are as follows:
    • Parking Zone A: Town Hall and Downtown Stockbridge – 50 Main Street, Stockbridge. If that parking area is full, please feel free to use any parking along Main Street or Elm Street in Stockbridge. Check in for zone A is at the Stockbridge Information Booth between 37 and 39 Main Street.
    • Parking Zone B: The Playhouse Theater, 83 East Main Street, Stockbridge.
    • Parking Zone C: Pine Street Parking Lot at Marian Fathers — 42.289646, -73.308362 (ONLY enter the parking area by coming up Pine Street through Stockbridge Center using the GPS coordinates; Do NOT enter via the Marian Fathers Shrine entrance)
  • The shuttle will run every 5-10 minutes through the run of the show. The last shuttle will depart to Naumkeag no later than 7:30pm.
  • The last ticket sale will be at 7:30pm, with no entry to the property after 7:30pm. The property will close at 8:45pm, when the last shuttle departs Naumkeag.

Ticketing & Admission FAQ’s

  • Can I change my date or time? At this time, we are unable to accommodate date or time changes. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable across dates.
  • I purchased tickets but didn’t receive (or lost) my confirmation email! Guests who purchased tickets may look up their order & re-send their tickets by visiting tickets.thetrustees.org/orders. If you are still unable to locate your ticket confirmation, please contact winterlights@thetrustees.org.
  • What happens if I show up early or late for my entry time? To ensure a positive experience for guests, we ask that you arrive during your designated time slot. For example, guests with 5:30pm tickets should arrive to the shuttle pick up location between 5:30 and 5:45. Early/Late arrivals may need to wait to accommodate those with correct timed tickets.
  • What is the weather policy? This event is rain or shine. Unsafe or extreme weather will cancel this event. In the event we must cancel due to weather, guests will be notified by email and we will offer a full refund or an alternative date to return to the show.

Amenities & Accessibility

  • How long does it take to walk through? On average, expect to spend about an hour walking through the property.
  • Are dogs allowed at Winterlights? No, in order to protect our gardens dogs are not allowed on the property.
  • Is the interior of the property open to the public during the show? The first floor of Naumkeag will be open for visitors.
  • Will food & drink be available for purchase? Yes, concessions (snacks, hot drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be sold on-site.
  • Will restrooms be available? Yes, restrooms will be available for guests.
  • What should I wear? The event will take place outdoors. Please be prepared to walk through unpaved pathways on uneven terrain through the woods and gardens. Trails may be muddy or icy at times. Dress appropriately for the weather that day.
