About Early Andover Settlements and Settlers Guided Walk

Join local historian and writer Jane Cairns on a guided walk to unlock the local history of Andover! Learn about Andover’s early settlements, the Holt and Tucker families, as well as, the two families’ Civil War service and their intriguing connections to local history. While at Ward on the guided walk, explore a neighborhood mystery regarding the June 1888 fire that destroyed the “largest barn in Andover” to reveal some interesting discoveries. This event is run by Friends of Ward Reservation and is free and open to the public.

Although we love our furry friends, dogs are not permitted during guided walks. Parking instructions will be sent to registered participants before the event.
