About Hideaway Circus Canvas Sky Tour – Open Air Circus at Weir River Farm
Join us at Weir River Farm for a unique open-air circus experience! Brooklyn based production company Hideaway Circus is set to stage its open-air family-friendly circus, Canvas Sky, on July 16 and 17, 2024.
Canvas Sky blends the wonder of classical circus with a poignant, contemporary storyline, all underscored by entirely original music. The performance unfolds on a custom-built circular stage and aerial rig, beneath the vast expanse of the sky. Crafted by the Hideaway Circus’s innovative founders Josh and Lyndsay Aviner, this family-friendly experience is perfect for all ages.
Showcasing a dazzling array of ten international world-class performers, the show centers around a circus troupe where the clown struggles to ‘fit in’ and find his voice, until he gets a little help from a friend who has already figured out how to embrace what makes her wonderful and unique. Travel to another time with this heartwarming story that evokes the charm of small touring circuses from centuries past.
Prepare to be dazzled by world-class performers who will take your breath away with their gravity-defying feats, jaw-dropping acrobatics, and mesmerizing displays of skill and artistry.
