Auto-Renewal FAQs
How can I opt-in to automatically renew my Membership every year? When you join or renew your Membership online, choose your desired Membership level on any form. After selecting your Membership level, confirm “Auto-renewal Membership” is selected them proceed to complete your transaction. Your credit card will be charged annually and your Membership and support will never lapse.
When will my card be charged? For auto renewals made prior to June 2026, cards will be charged on the same date each year. If you join or renew on May 3, 2025, your card would be charged on May 3, 2026, renewing you for another year. If you enrolled in auto renewals on or after June 2026, your renewal will process on the last day of your Membership term.
Can I opt-in by mail? No, for to security reasons, we cannot accept auto renewal payments by mail. Opt-ins are only online.
How can I opt out of recurring payments if I change my mind? Please contact customer service at Membership@TheTrustees.org to cancel your auto-renewing Membership.
Am I able to upgrade my Membership after my initial payment? You can increase your Membership level by contacting customer service at Membership@TheTrustees.org.
Will I be notified before my card is charged? Yes, The Trustees will contact you seven days prior to your annual renewal charge. At this time, you can cancel or increase your support.
Can I cancel my Membership after my Membership has been automatically renewed? Unfortunately, at this time we cannot refund Memberships once they have been charged. Your Membership is a fully tax deductible contribution and 100% of that donation goes directly to supporting the care of our Special Places.
Are Trustees employees able to update my credit card information for me? At this time, due to security process, Trustees employees do not have access to update your credit card information via the Support Center. You are able to update your credit card information at any point in the Support Center.
I forgot my password to the Support Center, how can I reset it? When you attempt to login to the support center, please select forgot password option. Instructions to update your password will be sent to your email.
