Come experience our two fantastic new exhibits at Fruitlands – Eye of the Beholder and The Land Tells Our Stories – with the shows’ curator Tess Lukey (Aquinnah Wampanoag). Tess will be stationed in both exhibits throughout the afternoon, answering questions and offering insights into some of the remarkable objects and stories on view in galleries!
Eye of the Beholder, located in our Four Season’s Gallery, highlights objects from the collection, taking a deep dive into Clara Endicott Sears and how her eclectic interests shaped Fruitlands!
The Land Tells Our Stories, a statewide show of newly commissioned outdoor sculptures, features a Creative Process Gallery in the Fruitlands’ Seasonal Gallery. With a video installation as well as touch-able objects, this space allows visitors to explore how three different artists worked to create works that reflect ideas of storytelling and placemaking.
This program is free with Museum Admission, which can be purchased here.
