About Chalk-O-Ween

Get into the Halloween spirit at Fruitlands Museum with our first-ever Chalk-O-Ween! Families can purchase a square of pavement to design their own spooky masterpiece. Each registration includes one box of sidewalk chalk to use during the event (and take home after). Additional boxes of chalk will be available for purchase at $5 each.

Show off your creativity with pumpkins, ghosts, witches, or whatever inspires you – the three best Halloween-themed creations will each win a festive gift bag and a pumpkin to bring home.

Costumes are welcome, so feel free to dress up and add even more magic to the day! Enjoy the crisp autumn air, stunning Fruitlands views, and the chance to make your mark on this historic landscape in a playful new way.

For those looking to extend their day, our Museum buildings are open until 4pm, and admission may be purchased seperately.

Cancellation Policy: In the event The Trustees cancels a program due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify registrants by email and issue a full refund or transfer to another scheduled program within two weeks of the cancellation. To cancel a reservation, please contact Fruitlands Museum 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds and transfers will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program.  As a general policy, The Trustees does not issue refunds for weather-shortened programs, in keeping with our standard approach to outdoor programs and the unpredictability of New England weather.
