
Spark your curiosity and discover the stone foundations on the southern edge of Ward Reservation with a guided hike amongst the fall foliage with local author and historian, Jane Cairns.
This guided hike will shed light and insight into some of Andover’s early settlement, the lives of the Tucker family and their Holt forebears, along with the families’ Revolutionary and Civil War service. This is a family-friendly hike. It is recommended, any children interested in attending should be at least 8 years old.
Although we love our furry friends, dogs are not permitted during guided walks.
Please note: Participants should be comfortable walking on trails with uneven terrain. This hike will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. This is a rain or shine event however, in case of implement weather that creates dangerous conditions, participants will be notified via email. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy, comfortable shoes are recommended.
