At any giving level within The Founders Circle, you can join the Contemporary Art Circle. The Contemporary Art Circle provides engaged supporters with special opportunities to share and deepen their knowledge of contemporary art with other enthusiasts. Members receive unique invitations to view and discuss art with the deCordova curatorial team, artists, and collectors, deepening the experience of exhibitions presented at the museum and other Trustees properties. Exclusive offerings include travel to regional art institutions, annual art fairs, special roundtables, and lectures.
The Founders Circle is more than just a giving society, it is a fellowship of people who carry on the legacy of our founder, Charles Eliot, who believed it was imperative that fresh air, scenic beauty, and places for rest and recreation be made available to everyone.

Opening of Nature Sanctuary
deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum

Please join us for the opening reception of Nature Sanctuary, an outdoor exhibition that explores relationships between the natural world and ideas of home. Spanning deCordova’s front lawn and beyond, this exhibition features original commissions and loans by six women artists: Venetia Dale, Kapwani Kiwanga, Joiri Minaya, Zohra Opoku, Kathy Ruttenberg, and Evelyn Rydz.
The exhibition deepens awareness of deCordova’s “more than human” landscape and its many unique ecological and geological features. Programming and interpretation led by artists and environmental caretakers will center on interconnections between art and place.

Arrival is an invitational, biannual art fair situated in the Berkshires mountains of western Massachusetts, equidistant from New York City and Boston. Founded as an antidote to the frenetic pace of the art fair circuit, the inaugural edition features exhibitors from across the United States, nominated by an esteemed team of Curatorial Ambassadors. Cultural partnerships with nearby institutions – MASS MoCA, Williams College Museum of Art, The Clark Art Institute, and more – are central to the experience of Arrival.

Tour of Boston Public Art Triennial

Join us for a day-long private tour of Boston Public Art Triennial installations with Tess Lukey, Associate Curator of Native American Art, The Trustees. With Artistic Director Pedro Alonzo, Lukey is co-curator of the inaugural Boston Public Art Triennial, – the city’s first and only public art organization dedicated to supporting artists and communities in presenting bold contemporary public art that opens minds, conversations, and spaces, resulting in a more vibrant, open, and equitable region.
The theme of The Triennial 2025 is The Exchange, an artist-driven and expert-supported exhibition of extraordinary cross-disciplinary public art projects that break down social and professional barriers to promote collaboration and strengthen community resilience.
We will meet and travel by van to view Boston Triennial installations throughout Boston, stopping to lunch together. This event will be ticketed and will include lunch and transportation. The Boston Triennial is on view May 22—October 31, 2025.
