About Planet Parade Watch at Worlds End

Join us for the planet parade! On this evening, seven planets can be visible in the night’s sky. Come for an opportunity to see Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars all in an arc across the sky. This is a rare event and won’t happen again until 2040!

We’ll begin with a scenic evening walk up to World’s End’s Planter’s Hill, where we’ll take in stunning views of the harbor before turning our eyes to the cosmos. With minimal light pollution, this is the perfect location to observe the planets as they shine among the stars. A scope will be available for shared use, but we highly recommend bringing binoculars for a closer look at these distant worlds.

Whether you’re an astronomy enthusiast or just curious about the wonders of space, this will be an unforgettable night of stargazing, learning, and connection with the universe.

This is an easy to moderate hike with some inclines in areas. This event is geared towards adults, however, children are welcome.

Pre-registration is required for this event. Parking is included with your registration.

In the event of particularly inclement weather, this program may be rescheduled or cancelled. Please check your email for notifications prior to heading to World’s End. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.

We love our furry friends, however, dogs are not permitted on guided hikes.
