About Nature Play & Learn at Aha!

Join the Mobile Adventures team for our FREE Nature Play & Learn educational events every month at Aha! Find us at the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park every second Thursday, all year round. These are hands-on outdoor education experiences designed to help children and families explore the natural world through play, discovery, and creativity.

Every month participants will investigate local wildlife, engage in nature-based activities, make observations, and build connections with the outdoors through interactive stations and guided exploration. Each event will have a unique topic complimenting the Aha themes of the year:

Themes are:

• July 9th: Kids Rule

• August 13th: Summer in the Seaport

• September 10th: NB Cultures

• October 8th: Tunes, Treats and Creative Streets

• November 12th: Made in NB

• December 10th: NB Festive

Each program offers a unique opportunity to learn about nature, local culture, develop curiosity, and enjoy time downtown in a welcoming community setting.
