About Scenic Songs: A Hiking Concert with Erin McKeown

Calling all hiking enthusiasts and music lovers! Join us on the trail with some of your favorite performing artists for guided hikes and intimate live music experiences like no other. These unplugged and acoustic shows are unique opportunities to enjoy live music in community and nature.

On June 14th, join Erin McKeown on the trail at Bartholomew’s Cobble.

Erin McKeown is a musician, writer, and producer known internationally for their prolific disregard of stylistic boundaries. Their brash and clever electric guitar playing is something to see. Erin’s singing voice is truly unique—clear, cool, and collected. Over the last 20 years, they have performed around the world, released 10 full length albums, and written for film, television, and theater, all the while refining their distinctive and challenging mix of American musical forms. Leading their own band, Erin has performed at Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and the Newport Folk Festivals, and is a familiar presence on NPR and the BBC. Their first musical, Miss You Like Hell, written with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Quiara Alegría Hudes, opened Off-Broadway at The Public Theater in 2018 and was nominated for 5 Drama Desk Awards. While a student at Brown University, Erin was a resident artist at Providence’s revolutionary community arts organization AS220, and has since been a fellow at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center For Internet & Society.
